John 12:24

Jesus talking about Himself dying and resurrecting so that through His sacrifice, it will bear much fruits.

As I pondered over this verse, I am also reminded that our gifts and talents, dreams and prophecies spoken into our lives are also seeds that are planted into our lives.  It is for us to sow it, to let it fall to the ground, to “die” to our self-doubt and fears, and let that seed die so it can be resurrected.  To expose ourselves to step out of our comfort zone and do something different, try something new, take risks and go on an adventure with the Holy Spirit.  
And as we do that, all these things that God has sown into our lives will come to fruition, and it is no longer just a single seed, but a new plant that has so many seeds, where the potential in a single seed explodes into an entire wheat field.  As we do that, God brings to our lives people, who will run together with us, and go on an adventure together, because these gifts, talents, prophecies are never just for ourselves, but for us to be a blessing.
